On August 23, 2023 the FLEX Abroad students had a meeting with their school peers. Since the weather was nice, we took blankets, snacks, and supplies, and went to the Saxon Garden. It was a friendly get-together with the buddies (high school peers who help FLEX Abroad students to adjust to school reality) and host siblings. They worked on activities regarding their interests and qualities as well as discussing the types of leadership. Then they talked about school reality, school environment, and school rules. It was a great chance to compare American and Polish high schools as well as find similarities and differences between educational systems. 13 people in total took part in this get-together.
